Privacy Policy

SquashCatalyst is an AI-powered squash video analysis service. We are based in the United Kingdom. For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us at support@squashcatalyst.com.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash by Supabase Auth). Optionally, you may provide a squash level at signup.

Match videos. Videos you upload are stored with Cloudflare Stream for processing and playback. We retain these for the duration of your account.

Analysis data. AI-generated coaching reports and match notes are stored in our database and linked to your account.

Usage data. We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymised, aggregated page-view data. No persistent tracking cookies are used. No personal data is shared with third parties for this purpose.

We use your data to provide the SquashCatalyst service: to process your uploaded videos, generate AI coaching reports, and serve analysis results to you. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (Supabase for database and auth, Cloudflare for video storage, Google for AI processing).

We may send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, analysis complete notifications) where you have enabled them.

Your data is stored in Supabase (EU or US region) and Cloudflare Stream. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security policies in our database, and authenticated API access.

Video content is processed by Google's Gemini AI. Videos are uploaded as MP4 files (not image frames) for analysis. Google's data handling is governed by their privacy policy.

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You may also request a copy of your data, or withdraw consent for processing where applicable.

We use strictly necessary cookies only — these are session cookies used to keep you logged in to your account. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised or aggregated data (not linked to your identity) may be retained for service improvement purposes.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
